A few months ago my husband called to me while I slaved over dishes and he played with our toddler in another room (he does his share of dishes too, it was just my turn). I heard a lot of laughing and squealing so after a minute I gave in to curiosity to see what they were doing.
They were hand in hand over the boy’s head and my husband yelled with excitement “Get this!” and he lifted just slightly and walked backward. On cue our son moved his feet like he was walking while daddy dragged him backwards–a perfect moonwalk!
Before long proud dad was showing everyone who would watch which was quite a lot of people. It got popular at family and friend gatherings big and small and was a huge hit at our church potluck. Everbody thinks it should go on Youtube or Facebook or America’s Funniest Home Videos but we want to preserve ur son’s privacy. Still, I have to admit it’s still fun to show off this “talent” now and then, while it lasts.
By the way, our son’s name is Joshua. But his middle name, no kidding, is Michael.
